Shanti Sparrow
Shanti Sparrow is an Australian designer, illustrator and day dreamer. Sparrow studied a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) majoring in Illustration at the University of Western Sydney.
For the past five years she has worked commercially as a graphic designer specialising in not-for-profit marketing and fundraising. Sparrow has recently taken time out to focus solely on her art. She looks forward to journeying ahead in her illustrating career to produce lovingly made books for the child in all of us to enjoy.
Shanti Sparrow was highlighted as an exciting entrant in the 2014 Yen Young Australian Art Awards presented by the Gaffa.
Sparrow was also awarded the 2009 UWS Equity and Diversity Calendar design award.
Shanti Sparrow held her debut solo exhibition ‘Hatched’ at the Central galleries, Sydney. The 2 week show was a great success, with an overwhelmingly positive response. The exhibition also helped raise vital fund for the Greyhound Rescue.
Sparrow has been invited to exhibit in the Sydney Children's Hospital major fundraising art event of the year. The 2014 Christmas show ‘Concrete Jungle’ sponsored by Louis Vuitton.
