October 1998 Hardie Grant first magazine is published for Ansett International.
April 2002 Hardie Grant Publishing forms new business Hardie Grant Egmont to publish childrens books in partnership with Egmont Ltd UK.
August 2002 Hardie Grant Publishing acquires Explore Australia from Penguin.
