Objective:
To create monthly, then bimonthly publications that represented the evolving retail landscape of Sydney Airport Departures Terminal, known as T1. Between 2009 and mid-2010 the terminal underwent extensive renovation to transform the space into a leading international shopping destination. The publication was established to help travellers and visitors navigate the changing landscape and to showcase the terminal’s growing retail portfolio and its offering.
Overview:
T1 magazine flagged retail openings and changes, special events and features, as well as food, entertainment and general news around the terminal over a two-year period. The attractive, glossy, passport-size magazine was established as a handy medium for a transient audience across a broad demographic. The magazine was displayed in key locations around the check-in area and beyond customs, and in the retailers themselves.
