Little Hare
Little Hare creates books that resonate with children: books that whirl them away into their imaginations and books that bring them home to the familiarity of their own worlds.
The stories are accessible, the concepts are fun and the illustrations are outstanding. The editorial team is dedicated to quality, and works with a wide selection of established authors and illustrators, as well as introducing exciting new talent to the world of children’s books.
The list is traditional, but it has a quirky edge and, while based in Australia, Little Hare books are universal in appeal and can be found all over the world.
Little Hare was founded by Rod and Mary Hare in 2000 and fast became a publisher of note in Australia & New Zealand, as well as overseas. In January 2010, Little Hare became an imprint of Hardie Grant Egmont, and the list continues to grow and thrive as part of a bigger family.
