Together with the Victorian Women’s Trust, Readings are delighted to be able to bring you a conversation about sex, lies and our parliament house.

Former MP Kate Ellis has written a wry, candid and provocative portrait of her time in Parliament. Sex, Lies and Question Time is a powerful call to demand more of our leaders and our institutions. It reminds us we need greater diversity to shape a fairer Australia, where ‘women’s issues’ are everyone’s issues. A better parliament means a better Australia. The stakes are high, and the standards should be too. Ellis will be in conversation with the Executive Director of the Victorian Women’s Trust, Mary Crooks.

This event is online and ticket entry is $5 per person, which is redeemable off purchase of the book when purchasing in store or online from the Readings website. Attendees will be sent a promo code to claim $5 off the price of the book when they book their ticket.
